In this inspiring story, two men--an Indigenous fisherman on BC's rugged northwest coast and a cinematographer--share a common achievement. Both have refused to let a medical condition dictate how they'll live their lives.

Ken Wilson is a Heiltsuk fisherman from Bella Bella who spends most of his time in nature and on the water. Ken Hewlett is a cinematographer living in Port Moody whose work can take him anywhere. Both Kens require kidney dialysis to survive. By seizing the opportunity to care for their own health on their own terms using home dialysis, they can continue to live prouctive lives and save the medical system substantial costs.

The DVD includes a 10-minute extra designed to inform about home dialysis.
