Visual artist Robert Williams explores alternate perceptions of the world in this interpretation of a conversation he had with a local figure in Halifax. The man, who had been in and out of institutions over the years, stood on the street day after day, observing life and the bustle around him. After talking with him on a number of occasions, the artist became fascinated with his perceptions and personal philosophy.

Williams taped a conversation, overlapped and layered the sound, and created visuals drawn with a computer mouse. The result is a fascinating visual and sound experience that inspires us to consider our own perceptions and how strange they may seem to someone else.
