Kama Sood


Kama Sood is an award-winning filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC. Kama started making films when he was a child and his first summer job was as a videographer making web commercials for an alkaline water company. He then transitioned into writing and directing more developed stories. By age 20, Kama had written and directed the short film, The Bus Stop, the story of a mixed-race family coming to terms with dementia. The film garnered several awards in its play across North American festivals. Kama is completing a Bachelors degree in Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University and has recently written and directed another short film Glory Days, the story of a washed up rock star who is forced to confront his troubled past when he meets a mysterious young woman.
