Sook-Yin Lee

Born in British Columbia in 1966, musician/visual artist/filmmaker/actor Sook-Yin Lee currently works in Toronto as a MuchMusic veejay. She has garnered much attention for her multi-faceted talents and her unique approach to artistic expression. Her first film Escapades of the one Particular Mr. Noodle is based on her memorable job as a ten-foot noodle promoting a pasta bar.

Notably, as a musician, she has composed and performed for five albums with the original music group Bob's Your Uncle and has recently released her first solo album, Lavinia's Tongue. She has also gained recognition for her acting endeavours, performing in the lead role in the alternative opera production of Faust held at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre and in the short film My Sweet Peony.
