Part of The Artist's Life series
Michael Glassbourg Susan N. Stewart studied Visual Arts at York University and Ontario College of Art & Design. She has exhibited in Canada and the U.S with works in private and corporate collections around the world. Her most recent exhibition of paintings, "HEAD SHOTS," is a compelling collection of portraits that includes an unusual cast of characters. Stewart paints with boldness and fluidity, irony and wit. In this documentary, Susan works in her studio, sets up a show in a gallery and attends the opening. As she works on a portrait, she explains her unorthodox road to becoming a full-time artist–she has an MBA and has been a high-paid management consultant among other professions. Susan is as bold and vivid as her work. Subject(s): Artists–Susan N. Stewart, Painting, Women–artists |
